Substance Abuse

Our foundation at Harmony Junction is the substance abuse recovery services we offer. These can help you move on from an addiction to drugs or alcohol, including:

  • Heroin
  • Meth
  • Cocaine
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Fentanyl
  • And more

The bottom line is that if you’re addicted to any type of drugs or alcohol (or both) we can help you heal. Our team has years of experience helping patients from all walks of life recover from substance abuse problems and can leverage that experience to do the same for you.

Mental Health

We also offer dedicated mental health treatment. This can be a standalone service or part of a broader substance abuse treatment program. Our expert therapists can help you move forward from challenging mental health problems, including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar disorder
  • PTSD
  • Co-dependency
  • Psychosis
  • And more

Our team may prescribe you medication as part of this treatment process. But that will depend on your unique situation. If you’re experiencing mental health and substance abuse problems at the same time, you may also benefit from enrolling in our dual diagnosis support plans. These address both issues at the same time to provide more powerful support and set the stage for lasting recovery.

Detox

If you come to Harmony Junction for substance abuse, your treatment will begin with detox. This is when the body purges itself of all remaining traces of drugs and alcohol from its systems. Everyone has to go through detox to prepare their bodies for rehab. But you get to decide whether you do this at home or in our medical facility.

That being said, we always recommend detoxing in a medical center where you can be watched over by practitioners. Detox is typically the period of recovery when withdrawal symptoms and cravings are at their worst. Some of these can be dangerous to go through on your own.

Plus, it will be much easier to avoid relapse if you detox in a center where it’s not an option. That way, you only have to experience the discomfort of detox once. Then you can begin working on your long-term care plan to reach your goals.

Rehab

After you complete detox, you’ll be ready for rehab. This is the most intensive stage of care for substance abuse. But there are several different ways to complete it. Here are a few of our rehab options you may want to consider.

Inpatient

Inpatient rehab involves moving into our treatment center and living there full-time for several months. During this time, you’ll receive a variety of support services, including 1-on-1 therapy, group therapy, and holistic healing services.

These treatments are designed to help you understand your addiction on a deeper level. Then, you’ll learn how to deal with the root causes of your addiction in healthier, more sustainable ways. The net result is that by the end of inpatient rehab, you’ll have a blueprint you can follow to remain sober for the rest of your life.

Outpatient

Outpatient rehab offers access to the same services as inpatient rehabilitation. You’ll get to work with therapists, participate in group meetings, and enjoy holistic healing therapies. The key difference is that you will go home and sleep in your own bed at night instead of living in our facility full-time.

The advantage of this is that you can continue living at home while receiving the support you need to recover. The downside is that the extra freedom this allows could make it easier to relapse.

The better option for you will depend on your home situation, the severity of your addiction problems, and other unique factors. But we can help you make that decision if you reach out for a free consultation.

Specialized

Harmony Junction also offers several forms of specialized rehab. This includes couples rehab and pet rehab. We also have a dual-diagnosis rehab option, which is designed for the unique needs of those experiencing mental health challenges alongside substance dependencies.

Aftercare

Finally, we also offer support services that extend after you complete rehab. These are designed to help you transition your healing back out into the real world. Aftercare services include:

  • Sober living
  • Continuing therapy
  • Group meetings
  • Holistic healing services
  • And other forms of support

The best aftercare plan for you will depend on how you respond to treatment and what your home situation looks like, among other factors. But this is something you’ll decide with your care team when you near the end of your rehab program.
